Memories of Murder

About the movie

In 1986 South Korea, a small rural town is gripped by terror when several young women are found brutally murdered, marking the country's first confirmed serial murders. Two clashing detectives — a ruthless local cop who relies on intuition and physical coercion, and an analytical investigator sent from Seoul who works strictly by forensic evidence — are tasked with cracking the case. As the bodies pile up and the elusive killer leaves behind no trace, both detectives are pushed to their psychological limits in a desperate, obsessive pursuit of truth.
